So much has been written about you guys here on our blog and also in the Your London Wedding Magazine. What a journey it has been, all that is left to say is – Well done, you guys are the winners and one of the most fun couples we have worked with!!

As most of our work consists of shooting weddings, it is great to sometimes vary it with something a little different. We thought it would be unfair not to share these images with the rest of the world, so in no particular order, we present (drum roll…) our favourite “something-little-differents”!

As some of you already know M&R Photography had the privilege to be part of a very special charity event on Saturday. The whole idea behind this was to raise money for Unicef’s Haiti Earthquake Children’s Appeal and people were asked to donate good quality/nearly new or unwanted baby and toddler clothes, toys & books which were sold on the day to raise some cash for this cause.
We all know the disastrous consequences of this terrible event & how the residents of Port-au-Prince need all the help and support they can get! Anyway, the day was a huge success and all the planning & hard work for our “local charity event” paid off. Well done to Ronel & Kate, two local mums who arranged all of it. We even had delicious homemade cakes for sale & M&R Photography donated a free portrait session as part of the raffle draw. Congratulations to our winner!
Thanks again to everyone for their support on the day. If you were unable to attend and would still like to make a contribution, please click here to donate directly to UNICEF’s HAITI EARTHQUAKE APPEAL.![]()

We are really excited about 2010 and our year could not have started any better! Some of you might remember Piran & Thusha who were entered in the previous feature of Your London Wedding Magazine’s “WEDDING OF THE YEAR” competition. Thank you to everyone who voted for them – they made it through to the Grand Final together with three other couples! Piran & Thusha have been such amazing and fun people to work with and as there can only be one winner, we’d appreciate if you could go online one last time to vote for them here! PLEASE NOTE: Only one vote can be submitted per user as multiple votes from the same person will be void. Deadline for entries is 24 January 2010. Remember to buy your copy of the Your London Wedding Magazine or make sure to visit them online here!

We know Neil & Tyelle from church and were really excited when they approached us to capture their wedding. They are such a cool & funky couple and we knew that everything about their wedding would be different. And we were right. In fact, we were so right that Your London Wedding Magazine featured them as a real wedding in their latest edition! How cool is that? This magazine is packed with loads of fun & interesting wedding stuff, so if you’re a bride (or groom), make sure to get your copy as it will definitely keep you entertained on these cold & snowy winter days! Please also check out the article by Laura Binder on p73 & p77 on pre/post-wedding shoots where some more of our work is featured.
