We are a husband and wife team living our dream. We love what we do and we are lucky enough to capture some of life’s greatest moments! The great thing about working together is that we get to capture all your special moments from two different perspectives and in the end, providing images that are a true reflection of your personalities!
Our aim is to provide a designer service for busy professionals looking for an all inclusive photography service. We will take care of all your photography needs, from a pre wedding shoot with a customised guest signing book right through to a beautiful album that you will treasure for the rest of your life.
Each wedding will be photographed as if for a high end wedding magazine, making sure we capture all the details and emotions on your big day. When we shoot, we are always looking to capture those special moments that happen in-between the moments.
For English people my name is a bit of a tongue twister, so I thought I’d try and make it easier to pronounce: My-er (as in “my” and “er” as in photograph”er”).
I grew up in a photography family and my first camera was a Kodak Instamatic. I can carry on about the darkroom I had when I was a kid and other random photography facts, but I’d much rather list a few other facts about myself below.
One of the highlights of my career was taking photos of Nelson Mandela in his hotel room with his 90th birthday celebrations in London.
I enjoy shooting Rugby for a magazine on my free weekends and don’t even think of it as work.
Although we mostly shoot digital, I have a few film cameras that we sometimes take along on personal shoots. We even have our own darkroom set up at home – nothing beats the feeling of when you develop an image and see it come to life!
I love Camper shoes and bought my first pair at a sale a while ago – they are expensive!!
I am a wannabe bass guitar player and hope to be able to play a few tunes by the end of the year.
I love my wife and I know you will too when you meet her!
As you can see from the photos above, I absolutely love Instagram – please follow us!
We love hanging out at our church on Sundays. There are some lovely restaurants – come and join us for lunch if you are in the area!
So if you are still a bit confused about my German name, you can read more about it on Wikepedia!
I was born in a city called Bloemfontein, right in the middle of South Africa.
I have always loved being creative – drawing, painting and decorating all sorts of things.
Music has always been a big part of my life – I love playing it and also listening to it (not my own music, but music in general)! The flute is my first instrument and I use to play in an orchestra, but I can also play the piano and a little bit of guitar.
I met Meyer in London. He is the love of my life and my best friend. This year we’ll be celebrating eight years of marriage, so we understand the importance of finding the right photographer to capture your special day!
Meyer has taught me everything I know about photography!
We’ve been shooting weddings as a husband and wife team for the last 8 years.
Although female, the spelling of my name would suggest that I’m male (I’ll blame my parents for this). I even once had a penpal in Germany who stopped writing when she found out that I was indeed a female and not male (as my name would suggest).
Meyer and I love hanging out in coffee shops, traveling, discovering new places and finding great treasures in second hand shops.
