BRAXTED PARK INDIAN WEDDINGS – ANAND and BIJAL
BRAXTED PARK INDIAN WEDDINGS
Who doesn’t love Braxted Park Indian weddings! We had photographed here once before in autumn and were so excited to return to this beautiful and historic location in the heart of Essex earlier this year towards the end of spring.
One of the main reasons why we love Braxted Park Indian weddings, must be the amazing colours against this luxury venue as a backdrop. With its two large lakes that host quite a large amount of exotic fish, wild fowl and rare birds, the large Queen Anne house sits majestically at the end of a long sweeping drive. Not difficult to see why this couple chose this spectacular venue!
Anand & Bijal had their wedding planned to the finest detail, but not in a way that it was overly done. It was a perfect day filled with so much love and emotion.
All of their planning and decisions in terms of a venue and the rest of the suppliers did involve a lot of research. They already had a lot of information about venues and caterers from their siblings’ weddings in the last few years. So, when having to decide on a venue, they already had a shortlist of venues, but Braxted Park wasn’t even on it! They knew they wanted a mansion house type setting with capacity for their amount of guests, and after searching long and hard, they eventually found the perfect venue – Braxted Park! This just comes to show that you should keep an open mind when choosing your venue and any of your wedding suppliers, but it is also great to go by recommendations and word of mouth.
As with many of their suppliers, Anand and Bijal were recommended to us by friends whose wedding we also did a few years ago. We have always said this, but we have been blessed with the most amazing clients over the years. They give us the opportunity to do what we love and we get to capture some really amazing memories for them.
Some of Anand’s fondest memories of the day were his entrance on a horse with dhol players, the wedding ceremony and speeches. Bijal’s favourite parts were also the wedding ceremony and speeches, and then the reception dancing! One of our most favourite images of the whole day was Bijal’s reaction during the dancing, when she was picked up on the dance floor – her expression is priceless!
We also asked the couple what their advice would be for future brides and grooms, and we couldn’t agree more with what they had to say: “Your wedding should be a reflection of your personality – just have fun and be creative!”
Anand & Bijal, you are two of the most genuine and nicest people we have had the pleasure of working with. You’re an amazing couple, perfectly suited for each other and we wish you many more years of happy times together as husband and wife. Thank you for trusting us with your most special day and enjoy looking through your images!
