Meet baby Zac. The baby with the most adorable blue eyes. The poor little guy was teething at the time of his shoot and only afterwards did we find out he was actually busy getting a cold as well. So little Zac really made us and his parents work hard for every smile on these photos but it was TOTALLY worth it! Thank you Emma & Dan for allowing us to capture these special moments of your gorgeous boy.

Apparently little girls are made of sugar & spice and all things nice. This definitely must be true if you look at beautiful and delicate baby Emily. Born three weeks early, she was only a few days old when we did her newborn shoot and she wasn’t even fussed with any of the studio lights or with us moving (her) around the studio to get that “perfect” shot. Welcome to the world little Emily. You are favoured and loved – a perfect miracle out of God’s hand!

Meet baby Nathan. The sweetest and most adorable baby boy ever. He was only 10 days old when we did his newborn shoot and he slept like a log – giving us a fair chance to get some amazing shots. Congratulations to Willem & Vanetta – we know you guys are going to be great parents & thank you Willem for being such a great assistant on the day..!

Baby Portrait Photography London – Bhama, Kumar and baby Ruben

We photographed Bhama & Kumar’s Tamil wedding in 2007 and were delighted when they asked us to take some family portraits of them and the new addition to their family, baby Ruben. Well, it’s been a while since the shoot, so Ruben is not quite “new” anymore. He’ll be turning one in a couple of months’ time – it is amazing how time flies! Over the years we’ve worked with some really wonderful clients and Bhama & Kumar are one of those couples whom we’ve had the pleasure of knowing and keeping in contact with over the years, often bumping into them at weddings. Here are some of our favourite images from the shoot and the images speak for themselves – Ruben really is one very cute little baby!

Although weddings consume most of our time, especially around this time of year, we occasionally get the chance to photograph some adorable babies in our studio. You might recall the images from Jaco & Sura’s pregnancy shoot from a few weeks ago and we were really looking forward to meeting Gerhard who was only a few days old when we did this newborn shoot. Thank you guys for allowing us to capture these images & for your patience on the day, Sura. And congratulations again with your beautiful baby boy – he truly is a little miracle!

Family Portrait Photo Shoot – Studio Photography

Two beautiful families, three gorgeous kids and loads of fun! This in a few words sums up our day with the Cloete & Wiehahn families. Meyer & I recently travelled up to Warwick to take some family and maternity photos for an old school friend of mine. Freda is now pregnant with their second child and it was great catching up with them again. We were able to schedule another shoot for the day with the Wiehahn family and although it was a tiring day for both kids and photographers, it really was a great shoot and it truly is a privilege for us to be able to capture these great moments for families. Hope you guys enjoy these few tasters, the rest is soon to follow!
